In 2018, a family of four and a bunch of recent graduates from California packed their bags and moved to Chicago with a vision of starting an Acts 2 church in Evanston. For many of us, college was a transformative time when we found God and experienced a close biblical community. So we’re here! We're excited to see how God will work to replicate the patterns of the early church in the lives of college students in Evanston.

Gracepoint Evanston Leads
Kevin grew up in the church but was jaded with God and Christianity. Emily was the opposite - she grew up in an atheist home but was spiritually seeking. In college, they not only found Jesus but they also caught the bug to dedicate their lives to sharing this good news with other college students. After serving in college ministry on the Berkeley campus for over 10 years, Kevin and Emily and their two rambunctious boys moved to Evanston to lead the church here.
Outside of church, you can find Kevin battling his kids with Star Wars legos or Emily cooking up a storm!
